Who is Caitlin & How did this Brand Start?

Hi! I’m Caitlin, a 20-year-old girl from NJ!! Ever since I was a little girl I knew I wanted to have my own designs of some sort out in the world and have my own business. I would draw in countless Dave & Busters pink fluffy notebooks titled “Caitlin’s designs,” I took sewing & drawing classes in elementary school, and experimented with fashion in many ways growing up.

In elementary school I would set up Rainbow Loom jewelry stands at the foot of my driveway, selling to neighbors and anyone that would walk or drive past the house. In middle school I had an online slime business with a friend at the time where we ran an Instagram slime account. At 15 years old I had my first small jewelry company that I called Lovade Jewelry, which ran from November 2019 to February 2020. It was short lived, but it was my first experience teaching myself how to build a website, reach an online audience by posting on social media, and it gave me the basic knowledge to help me start Caitlin & Co.

2 years later, I started Caitlin & Co. at 17 years old as a junior in high school!! I randomly had the idea to start it when I finished out state testing early, and was daydreaming. I decided to open my company back up, but rebrand and branch off as well! Throughout 2022 and 2024 I worked on the brand on an off, managing college and life, but now I’m all in!
